The Westport Holiday Shop ‘N Hop Weekend 02 – Day 04

The Westport Holiday Shop ‘N Hop Weekend 02 – Day 04

Saturday was the last day of the Westport Holiday Shop ‘N Hop. There were 2 Christmas Markets, plenty of shopping at the local businesses, pet photos with Santa at Wags Whiskers and Wings, another wreath-making workshop at Watercolour Westport, and live music at the Westport Brewing Company and The Cove Inn. With the rains moving in throughout the day, there was concern it would slow people from visiting but there was a steady flow of patrons through the markets and both live performances.

We had a blast documenting both weekends. We hope you’ll enjoy the last set of photos and videos below.

First we visited the Christmas Market at the Royal Canadian Legion Upper Rideau Branch 542:

We then visited the pop-up market at Rosie Yumski’s:

Next we visited the Westport Brewing Company where Michael and his wife Ingrid were performing:

Wags Whiskers & Wings were doing pet portraits with Santa. Here is an example of their hard work:

We ended the day with the Young Petty Stones performance at The Cove Inn. Lots of Neil Young, Tom Petty and Rolling Stones music to get everyone up singing and dancing. It was a good ol’ fashion party!

Here is the band performing a cover of Neil Young’s “Everybody Knows This is Nowhere”

Thank you to all involved in making the Westport Holiday Shop ‘N Hop a huge success! Merry Christmas to everyone!
