Have you been to the Westport Market? Every Saturday from 9am – 2pm, local artisans, farmers, bakers and craftspeople gather to display and sell their latest creations. With over 35 vendors this past Saturday, it was a great time to get out and document the event. The sun was shining, the temperature just right. A perfect day to see some smiling faces. Below are some images I took of the event. As you can see, there is pretty much something for everyone. The Westport Market runs every Saturday until Labour Day weekend.

Canada Day festivities were in full swing yesterday in Westport. Organized by the Royal Canadian Legion Upper Rideau Branch 542, with the help of many other community members and organizations in Westport, the day was chalked full of events and activities. The Westport Market brought their 1st ever “Spring Edition” to the WTC Communications Centre (the Westport arena) gathering 50 vendors, artisans, crafters and small business owners, just in time for Easter shopping.
