Welcome Back Westport

Welcome Back Westport

The light at the end of the tunnel is starting to shine a little brighter my friends! As we progress into Summer, Westport is opening up. We know that many of you have been excited to return to Westport and we are excited to host you once again.

Patios are starting to open. This video was shot last year when the patios started to open back up again, but it’s still very relevant for this year.

Starting today, you can safely enjoy patio dining in Westport from one of these four locations:

The Cove Inn: http://coveinn.com
Westport Brewing Company: https://fb.watch/61UpqZGZFb/
The Cottage Coffee House: https://fb.watch/61Uu_UuCzb/
Scheuermann Vineyard + Winery: https://www.scheuermannwinery.com

Visitors are also able to shop in-store when they return to Westport at one of our many unique boutiques:

Saturday is a must visit to the Westport Market, which is open from 9am – 2pm every Saturday through until September. With the addition of many new vendors, the market is definitely the place to be to start your weekend off right!

A visit to Westport should also include a round of Golf at Evergreen Golf Course. The course is conveniently nestled in the heart of the sought-after Rideau Lakes Region.  It is located on Wolfe Lake and just 5 short minutes from Westport.

One can’t forget a visit to Foley Mountain for the stunning views of Westport from Spy Rock, a walk on their many trails, or a quick dip at the beach.

There’s just so much to do in Westport and there will be even more planned for the coming months. Make sure to check back in often with our events calendar (http://www.whatsonwestport.ca/events/month/) for all that is “ON” in Westport.

It’s important to remember that the on-going pandemic and restrictions placed on businesses and community organizations during this time will make it important to exercise patience and grace. All the Westport businesses are doing their best to offer products for sale and their services as we try to return to a normal state. If you are unsure of a protocol or the hours a business is open, please contact them directly before venturing out. Continue to wear your mask, keep socially distanced where possible, and stay safe. Things will get even better as the months go on if everyone does their part.

Welcome back to Westport, we’ve missed you!
