Canada Day festivities were in full swing yesterday in Westport. Organized by the Royal Canadian Legion Upper Rideau Branch 542, with the help of many other community members and organizations in Westport, the day was chalked full of events and activities. It was exciting to see so many familiar faces out and about enjoying the day. If you were looking for an event to officially kick off Spring in Westport, this was it! The Westport Market brought their 1st ever “Spring Edition” to the WTC Communications Centre (the Westport arena) gathering 50 vendors, artisans, crafters and small business owners, just in time for Easter shopping.
