Delvalle integrates her memories and impressions of the aboriginal culture of her Venezuelan village childhood with contemporary techniques and interpretations, combining practical craft skills and artistic inspiration. Delvalle has adapted techniques learned from master artists and craftspeople into her own unique vision. Sculpting natural forms and masks in porcelain. She also integrates other materials such as copper, leather, feathers etc. into her sculptures.
Join Delvalle at the Dancing Moon Gallery & Tea Room on Saturday November 23rd between 2-7pm on open night. The sculptures will be on display until December 23, 2019.
