Bring your loved one to The Cove Inn on Tuesday February 14th, 2023 and celebrate with dinner and live music during our “Valentine’s Sweetheart Table d’Hôte Dinner.” From 5-8pm, we’ll have a fixed special menu and music from our “romantic acoustic duo” Eric Uren and Meghan Balogh!
Our menu for the evening will be:
Starters (Choose one)
Winter Heart Beet Salad – Arugula, goat cheese, spiced walnuts, pomegranate seeds + apple with a maple vinaigrette.
Vegetable + Shrimp Rice Wraps – Julienned vegetables, shrimp, rice noodles + lettuce with a sweet tamari sauce.
Sicilian Arancini with Marinara – Crispy deep fried risotto balls stuffed with mozzarella cheese, mushrooms + peas.
Mains (Choose one)
Prime Rib – Herb & garlic mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, au jus + Yorkshire pudding. $75
Grilled Shrimp Linguini Alfredo – Creamy Alfredo sauce in Linguini served with garlic toast. $65
Caprese Stuffed Portobello – Grilled portobello mushroom with bocconcini, roasted cherry tomatoes, basil + balsamic reduction. Served with sweet potato polenta. $65

Crème Brûlée + Chocolate covered strawberry.
Decadent Chocolate Torte with raspberries.
Your live entertainment for the evening will be provided by Eric Uren & Meghan Balogh.
Eric Uren has been performing in clubs and pubs across Canada and Europe for over 25 years. His straightforward, honest delivery of well-known songs by artists like Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Johnny Cash and Steve Earle connect with audiences of all ages. He is a warm and personable performer who excels at creating a friendly, social atmosphere wherever he takes the stage.
Meghan Balogh spent years studying classical piano and violin before delving into the world of Irish fiddle music. She grew up immersed in folk music, and currently plays fiddle and sings as a member of bands in Kingston and Prince Edward County including Seventh Town, The Gertrudes and No Great Mischief. She can be found playing for Irish ceili dances around eastern Ontario with the Seventh Town Ceili Band (https://seventhtown.ca/ceili-band), and as a fixture with Kingston’s Irish session.
