Born and raised in Prince Edward County Soul Blues singer/songwriter Miss Emily Fennell started her career at age 12 performing at county fairs in southern Ontario winning competition after competition with her incredible voice and delivery. By 15 she already had a strong following in Canada, the US and the UK. In 2011 she opened for The Tragically Hip and began a relationship that would change her career and remains tight to this day. Emily has recorded 4 albums to date including her most recent “Defined By Love” which is getting a ton of international airplay. Her previous CD “LIVE At The Isabel” released in 2020 was also very well received earning her 3 Maple Blues Awards that year for Best Female Vocalist, New Artist and the Sapphire Award for Video Of The Year. She won Best Female Vocalist again in 2022 and received a Juno Award nomination that year as well. And she was nominated again for the Maple Blues Award for Female Vocalist Of The Year this past year.
To say that Miss Emily is a rising star on the Canadian and international Blues scene is an understatement. We are very fortunate to have her perform here in the intimate setting of The Cove Inn Patio after a full summer of playing major Festivals as part of her “Defined By Love” Tour. Come and see her and her fabulous band up close and personal while you can – before she becomes too big to play smaller venues like this!
