The Westport Arts Council is having a quilting event in the village on Thursday, July 18th from 10am – 3pm.
Enjoy a walking tour throughout the village and experience the joy of colour and design created with fabric and thread in a variety of beautiful locations.
The display of quilts will take place around the village and we are encouraging all businesses and residents to put a quilt out for the day.
Specific displays will be at The Grist Mill Gallery, The Dancing Moon Tea Room and Gallery, St. Paul’s Anglican Church (Quilts of Valour), Old Stone House, 4 Centre Street (Stephanie Forrester Collection) and the Rideau District Museum. We encourage all to go on a Quilt Crawl to see the Fabric of our Lives!
$5 per person tickets are available the day of the event at the Rideau District Museum.
Please see the map below for more information and the route.
