Chopped Liver is a Canadian acoustic quartet playing modern bluegrass with a focus on timeless songwriting that weaves storytelling, lush vocal harmonies, and lightning-fast picking.
Based in Hamilton and Toronto, Chopped Liver is comprised of Andrew Ivens on guitar, Ryan Barwin on Dobro and pedal steel, Adam Vrankulj on double bass, and Victor Vrankulj on banjo. Chopped Liver has a monthly residency in Hamilton and regularly brings their sound to stages across Ontario.
Chopped Liver’s live show is performed around a single microphone in the tradition of Flatt & Scruggs and features a constantly growing repertoire of original songs, a handful of contemporary covers in their signature acoustic style, and fresh takes on classic bluegrass, folk, country and old time favourites.
Join us Friday June 21st between 7-10pm. $10 cover.
