Christmas continues in Westport with….ROAD HOCKEY!

Saturday December 2nd, 2023 from 9:30am to 12pm. Games will happen on Spring Street in Westport, Ontario.

A morning of road hockey is being planned by community members. It begins on Spring St at 9:30am on December 2nd with the Village of Westport Council challenging the Rideaus!

Submit your completed registration form (with signed permission from your parents) at the WTC Communications Centre front office during a Rideaus game, at Town Hall or drop it off on Sprint Street December 2nd. Register as a team or individual. The deadline for registration is 9am on December 2nd (the day of the event), although pre-registration is recommended. Registration forms are available at the arena or Town Hall.

Here are the rules for the game:

• There will be two age groups (4-7 years old) and (8-12 years old)
• All players are required to wear a helmet with a face mask
• Shin pads are highly recommended
• Players must also bring their own hockey stick
• Individual registrants or complete teams are all welcome
• Players must have their parents’ signed permission on the registration form

This is a FUN event and is non-competitive!
