On Thursday September 30th, come to Lockwood Park and hear or read truths told through story as we work together towards understanding, kindness and reconciliation. Support Kiizhik Indigenous Learning Centre in building a library.
On Friday September 30th, come to Lockwood Park for Opening Circle, Story Book Trail, Calls to Action, Children’s Reflections, Local Artist. SHARE READ LISTEN. The gathering starts at 2pm with an opening circle and goes until 4:30pm.
Rideau Lakes Yoga is hosting a Fundraiser for Toy Drive on Monday December 5th at Shillington Park Hall. There will be two Yoga classes to choose from, one at 9:30am (until 11) and one at 6pm (until 7:30). Please bring a toy or cash donation. These 2 free Yoga classes offer both a gift to yourself and a gift to the Toy Drive. The 9:30-11:00 yoga class will end with melting away seasonal stress with the sounds of the Gong. The 6:00-7:30pm class will end with Chocolate Meditation.
