Established in 1956, IAWAH is centrally located to serve the communities of Eastern Ontario. Tucked against a backdrop of pristine wilderness, its made visually stunning by over 200 acres of forests, ponds, trails and 2.5 kilometres of private shoreline on Wolfe Lake. Since 1956 IAWAH has grown into a year-round centre for learning, adventure, and growth. Thousands of people, both young and old, have met the Lord at IAWAH, while others have grown deeper roots of faith. Today, we continue to journey with youth as they grow in leadership and intimacy with God.

Each Summer, IAWAH is focuses on providing amazing Summer Camp experiences to hundreds of children.

With a team of well-trained leaders, we help kids begin a journey of fun, friendship, growth, faith, and learning in an overnight, week-long sessions.

In addition to summer camps, IAWAH is passionate about Youth Development and Leadership Training (YDLP). Throughout the Summer IAWAH offers programs that guide youth on a journey of becoming great men and women centred in Christ and grounded in His truth. IAWAH offers four different programs:

  • RISE (finished Gr. 8)
  • CREW (finished Gr. 9)
  • ROOTs (finished Gr. 10)
  • REACH (finished Gr. 11)

From September to June IAWAH opens its grounds to a variety of retreat groups, conferences and schools. We believe that deepening community connections is important and coming together in a beautiful natural setting is a great way to become stronger as a team. IAWAH staff work alongside retreat leaders, and teachers to ensure the goals for their time at IAWAH are met. IAWAH also hosts a variety of it’s own Family Retreats on many of the long-weekends throughout the year.
